"The Friends of the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA and The Academy of Magical Arts (Magic Castle) present Magic And The Brain: The Art and Science of Illusion Thursday, April 28, 2011, 6:00 P.M. at the Skirball Cultural Center, 2701 N. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles, CA.

All proceeds benefit The Friends of the Semel Institute's Fellowship and Travel Grant programs which support research of the next generation of scientists developing treatments for illnesses of the mind and brain.

Magic and the Brain will honor philanthropist, inventor and businessman, Ronald A. Katz, founder of Operation MEND, which provides reconstructive surgery at UCLA to members of the military disfigured in Iraq and Afghanistan."
