A reading and Q&A session with the following young novelists:

Cristhiano Aguiar won the Osman Lins award for his collection of short stories Ao lado do muro (2006).Vinicius Jatobá contributed short stories to the prose anthologies Cariocas and Cinema Utopia Revolução. Chico Mattoso was shortlisted for the Jabuti Prize for his first novel Longe de Ramiro (2007). Nunca vai embora (2011) is set in Havana. Katrina Dodson translated stories from Granta em português for the English edition. Her translations also appear in Passageways (2012). Saskia Vogel from Granta: The Magazine of New Writing will facilitate discussion after the reading.
