Libros Schmibros co-directors David Kipen and Colleen Jaurretche lead monthly convenings focused on books related to the exhibition A Strange Magic: Gustave Moreau’s Salome.
This month’s book: Salammbo. Taken from the figure of Salome, Flaubert's classic historical novel Salammbo offers a blood-and-guts vision of Carthaginian decadence. (Penguin)
All Hammer public programs are free.
