A group of elephant hunters in India come to depend on young Toomai for help in tracking a herd of elephants after they witness his rapport with his own elephant, Kala Nag. Mediating between men and beasts, Toomai must navigate a way through the jungle, and through the mixed motivations of the adults. (1937, Dirs. Flaherty and Korda, 35mm, b/w, 91 min.)
Family Flicks Film Series The UCLA Film & Television Archive and the Hammer Museum have teamed up for a matinee screening series of new and classic family-friendly films from around the world.
All Hammer public programs are free. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
Hammer members receive priority seating, subject to availability.
Reservations not accepted, RSVPs not required.
Parking is available under the museum for $3 for 3 hours.
