Additional Information

UCLA Department of Education is very excited to announce our NEW summer professional development institute and workshops. We have designed an outstanding program of the country's top educational research and practitioner scholars to engage in a dynamic set of talks and workshops designed to provide participants with an exceptional experience.

Please join us June 19-23, 2017 on our beautiful UCLA campus in Los Angeles, one of the world’s most diverse cities! Our two-day institute brings together world renowned educational scholars, such as Marcelo Suárez-Orozco, Pedro Noguera, Tyrone Howard, Sylvia Hurtado and Annamarie Francois to discuss the ways in which scholars and practitioners together can work in partnership to promote greater understanding of educational policy and practice in light of the changes taking place in education at the federal level and in an effort to promote social good.

After two full days immersed in our summer institute, join us for a small intensive workshop, taught by top UCLA scholars from Center X, Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) and Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, & Student Testing (CRESST).
