Additional Information

Registration is now open for our third annual Symposium on the Science of Learning in Medical Education, sponsored by the Center for Educational Development & Research. In this interdisciplinary symposium, we will convene clinicians and basic scientists with other researchers from across the UCLA campus to deepen our understanding of teaching health professionals, and to find solutions for common educational challenges.

Marco Iacoboni, MD, PhD, Professor of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences, will deliver this year's keynote address, entitled Mirror Neurons, Imitation, and Empathy: Implications for Medical Education. Following the address, concurrent breakout discussion sessions will further explore the topic. The symposium will conclude with a poster session and reception.
