Additional Information

Participants will learn about different types of kidney diseases and related conditions, treatment and management strategies, and how to support friends and family with kidney disease. They will also get the chance to meet with UCLA faculty and staff to have any questions answered.

All funds raised during the event will be used to support our organization's mission to provide excellent clinical care, perform cutting edge research, and improve kidney disease education and outreach.

The UCLA Kidney Event is hosted by Anjay Rastogi, MD, PhD, and his UCLA team.

Kidney transplant faculty and staff will be available to answer questions about transplantation, pair exchange and blood group incompatible transplantation. Kidney donors and recipients will also share their experiences.
