On Monday, October 19, 2015, the UCLA Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry will honor Professor Stefan W. Hell, 2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry at a symposium with lectures by Prof. Hell and three other distinguished scientists. The symposium theme is: "New Physico-Chemical Tools for New Biology".

Speakers are: Professor Carlos Bustamante,UC Berkeley; Professor Scott Fraser, USC; Professor Shimon Weiss,UCLA; Professor Stefan W. Hell, Gottingen.

The event is followed by the Seaborg Medal Award dinner at Covel Commons.
