Additional Information

The Southern California Undergraduate Linguistics Conference (SCULC) is a UCLA hosted academic conference primarily for linguistics undergraduate students from institutions on the West Coast. The conference is a forum for students of all backgrounds to present their research or projects and is a great opportunity to share knowledge and network with others in the linguistics community.

This year we are pleased to invite as keynote speaker Dr. Paul Frommer, communications professor at USC, who is notable for his contribution to the blockbuster hit Avatar as creator of the Na'vi Language.
