Travel Basic Sessions hosted by UC Travel Center

These are focused training sessions for travel on UCLA business. Each session is approximately 30 to 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes of questions and answers.

1. Travel Perks (Why Connexxus): Airlines, hotels and car rental companies offer UC travelers plenty of value-added benefits such as: priority boarding or preferred standby; access to seat maps before they open to the public; and much more. Presented by Yasmin Sidi – UCOP Central Travel Office

2. Traveler Insurance/Export Control: Join our special guests, Tara Brown from UCLA Insurance and Risk Management (discussion on what means to ‘be covered’ when traveling on behalf of the University) and Ann Pham from Export Control Office (discussion of what you need to know when traveling abroad and especially to sanctioned countries)

3. Travel Accounting Talk: Frequently Asked Questions on reimbursements, express system, audit requirements, per diem rates, etc.
