An unstable economy and capital markets have shaken nonprofits and givers alike. This two-day workshop addresses the impact of the current economy on philanthropy and presents strategies for fundraising in today's climate. Program content provides a comprehensive overview of giving trends; a historical perspective of the economic crisis and its relation to corporate, foundation and individual giving; and ways to take advantage of the strategic opportunities presented by the current conditions. Problem-solving exercises tackle the concerns of fundraising professionals with a focus on capital campaigns and major gifts. Extensive case studies demonstrate important strategies that address organizational missions, case development, short-term action plans, prospects, new gift structures, donor engagement, and more.
