Recommended for ages 6+.
Considered immature and irresponsible by his rancher father, young Ken dreams of having his own a horse. He is ultimately entrusted with a chestnut filly he names Flicka, but his new duties put Ken to the test, especially when Flicka is gravely injured. (1943, Dir: Harold D. Family Flicks Film Series. The UCLA Film & Television Archive and the Hammer Museum have teamed up for a matinee screening series of new and classic family-friendly films from around the world.
All Hammer public programs are free.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Hammer members receive priority seating, subject to availability. Reservations not accepted, RSVPs not required.
Parking is available under the museum for $3 for 3 hours.
