Thanksgiving Weekend Events

Looking for something to do after a marathon of Thanksgiving meals? Here are a few events we have lined up to help your digestion:

Thursday, November 25 – Thanksgiving Day

There are no events listed for this day. The campus, including the Fowler Museum and the Hammer Museum, is closed. Enjoy your turkey!

Friday, November 26

Missed out on all those Black Friday shopping specials? Here are some great entertainment choices to cheer you up:
-Check out the Street Art exhibit at the Fowler
-Be sure to stop by the Hammer and experience Julian Hoeber’s “Demon Hill”
-Didn’t get enough football yesterday? Catch the Bruins football game versus Arizona State on cable (game @Arizona State)
-Cheer on the women’s volleyball team as they host cross town rivals USC. UCLA students get in free! (w/valid Bruin Card)

Saturday, November 27

Enjoy some theater at the Geffen Playhouse as they present: Hershey Felder in Maestro: The Art of Leonard Bernstein. Performances at 3 and 8pm.

Sunday, November 28

It’s been a busy weekend. The meals, shopping, football. Cap it off with a Bruin game. Women’s basketball plays Temple  (2pm) and men’s soccer plays Dartmouth in the third round of the NCAA Championships (5pm).
