DANCE, CONCERTS, EXHIBITS

The School of the Arts and Architecture offers exhibitions, concerts and dance performances by students and faculty, as well as by other leading architects, artists, designers, dancers and musicians. Many events are free and are held in Kaufman Hall, Perloff Hall, Schoenberg Hall, or in the Broad Art Center. Web Site

UCLA LIVE

What do Mabou Mines DollHouse, Gilberto Gil, and John Waters have in common? They are all part of UCLA Live this year. UCLA Live programs include music, theater, dance and spoken-word events, most of which are in Royce Hall. Check their Web Site for detailed event information. Student Section tickets are around $15 — a big discount — and once-in-a-lifetime events occur regularly. The Student Committee for the Arts is part of UCLA Live, and their Web site, sca.ucla.edu, has ticket information.
