Enjoy visual arts that span the classic to the cutting edge at the Hammer Museum. View contemporary exhibitions and Hammer Projects (focusing on up-and-coming artists) alongside the museum’s permanent collection that features works by van Gogh, Rembrandt and Monet. Admission is always free for UCLA students, and free to all on Thursdays. The Hammer Museum is located at the corner of Westwood and Wilshire boulevards.

FOWLER MUSEUM OF CULTURAL HISTORY
Want to see historic and contemporary art and objects, and explore cultures from around the world? Then visit the UCLA Fowler Museum of Cultural History, on campus west of Royce Hall. In celebration of world art and culture, Fowler’s newest permanent exhibit, “Intersections: World Arts, Local Lives,” displays 250 pieces of art from around the world. Admission is free. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
