UCLA has the world’s largest university moving-image archive. Year-round screenings include classic and contemporary cinema from around the world. Tickets are $5 with student ID. Tickets are also available at the box office one hour before the showing.

Free Sneak Previews, Ackerman Ballroom
(UCLA students, faculty and staff ) An advantage of being at UCLA is having the best of world-class entertainment come to you, which means getting sneak previews of movies before they are in theaters. Get your free pass at 319 Kerckhoff Hall two to three days before the movie showing. Arrive at Ackerman Union at least one hour early — two hours for a very popular movie. Melnitz Movies, James Bridges Theater
(UCLA students, faculty, staff and guests) Ever see a movie and wonder how the actor played the role, or why a director chose a certain shot? Then go to Melnitz Movies, where screenings often include a Q&A session with the filmmakers. Tickets are free to the UCLA community and available one hour before show time at the Bridges Theater in Melnitz Hall. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before tickets are available. Web Site
