Additional Information

'The Man From the Alamo' (1953): When a group of farmers at the besieged Alamo learn their families back home are threatened by raiders, they draw lots to see who will leave their post to protect their loved ones knowing that whoever goes will be branded a coward forever. Like the stoic figures of Boetticher’s later Ranown Westerns, Glenn Ford’s unlucky winner bears the burden of a painful past with grim resolve on the path to redemption.
