Additional Information
'The Sting' (1973): A marvelous celebration of the golden age of gangster films. Redford and Newman share an electric chemistry as odd-couple con-artists out to avenge a murder by “stinging” a top gangster out of a fortune with the assistance of a Runyon-esque rogues gallery of cons.
The Sting emerged as the top grossing picture of 1973 and won seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
