Monday, January 21, 2013 – 8:00am-2:30pm @ Belmont High School

As a follow-up to our very first One Bus, One Cause event, the Volunteer Center is proud to partner again with City Year Los Angeles for a powerful day of service as we honor the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

City Year leads tutors and mentors to work in under-resourced neighborhoods to become powerful role models to youth and to help create solutions for community problems.

On the holiday, volunteers will make a high-needs school a more engaging learning environment for students. Service projects include painting educational murals, inspirational quotes, and college logos around the campus, and other service tasks are in progress.

Lunch and snacks will be provided by UCLA and City Year. Learn more and register online.
