David Relman a world-renown immunologist and a pioneer in characterizing how the body interacts pathogens in our environment.

He is currently the Thomas M. and Joan C. Merigan Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases and the Department of Microbiology & Immunology at Stanford University. He is also the Chief of Infectious Diseases for the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System.
