Additional Information

The Partnership at Drugfree.org will team up with nonprofit substance abuse organization Phoenix House and social impact company Outside The Wire in Los Angeles, California for “The Dionysus Project,” a series of dramatic readings and town hall discussions to address the connection between substance abuse and creativity – an issue that specifically touches the artistic community in Los Angeles.

Keith David (actor, Crash, Requiem for a Dream) and Adam Driver (actor, HBO’s “Girls”) will read scenes from Euripides’ Bacchae, a Greek play about the destructive power of intoxication.
