In anticipation of a ruling in June by the Supreme Court on the constitutionality of the Affordable Health Care Act, public policy expert and professor of sociology and public affairs at Princeton University Paul Starr joins us to offer his analysis.

Starr received the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for Nonfiction for his book The Social Transformation of American Medicine. He was a senior adviser on the Clinton health plan, and his most recent book is Remedy and Reaction: The Peculiar American Struggle over Health Care Reform.

Hammer Forum. This ongoing series of timely, thought-provoking events addresses current social and political issues. Hammer Forum is moderated by Ian Masters, journalist, author, screenwriter, documentary filmmaker, and host of the radio programs Background Briefing, Sundays at 11AM, and The Daily Briefing, Monday through Thursday at 5PM, on KPFK 90.7 FM.

All Hammer public programs are free. Hammer members receive priority seating, subject to availability. Reservations not accepted, RSVPs not required.

Parking is available under the museum for $3 after 6:00pm.
