Culture Now (CN) is a new research hub founded by Pritzker Prize-winner and UCLA Distinguished Professor Thom Mayne, one of the world’s leading architects, with urbanist Karen Lohrmann and UCLA Architecture and Urban Design. Focused on connecting academic research to real-world professional practice, Culture Now seeks to integrate public policy and urban studies with contemporary culture. Mayne presents the results of CN’s first major study of midsize American cities as they struggle to recover from the current economic crisis. Learn more at http://www.culturenowproject.org/
