Additional Information

The Taming of the Shrew, directed by Shayna Maci Warner and assistant directed by Phoebe Balson, is the Shakespeare Company at UCLA's spring mainstage production.

A radical take on the Bard's classic yet problematic comedy, the production will reexamine the play through a queer lens, exploring themes of gender roles and domestic violence within queer relationships.

The production promises to be funny, moving, and above all, thought-provoking.
