Mateus Aleluia was part of the legendary vocal trio Os Tincoãs and the group's primary composer. A practitioner of Candomblé, Aleluia’s compositions are often built around melodies sung in Candomblé ceremonies.

Aleluia will perform and also discuss his musical trajectory and the musical environment of music of his native city, Cachoeira, Bahia, Brazil.
