Vivian Cheung, M.D. Professor, of Genetics and Professor of Pediatrics; Investigator, Howard Hughes Medical Institute; University of Michigan

Dr. Cheung investigates the human genetics of complex phenotypes and gene regulation. Her research uses genetic data to tailor treatments to individual patients, who often react differently to therapies like ionizing radiation. She is also a pediatrician.
