Combining inspiring words and stunning images, The Inheritance of Tradition: Art of Chinese Living showcases the essence of China in a four-season quartet highlighting the beauty of Chinese life, the indigenous lineage of the country's people, and the grandeur and splendor of Chinese culture.

As part of the UCLA Library Writer Series, author Xiang Jen Yao will talk about her four-volume book and introduce China's cultural heritage in an engaging, innovative way that melds Chinese graphic design, history, culture, and family values with contemporary life and topical issues.
