Additional Information

Directed by Kamran Heidari.

Documentarian Kamran Heidari explores the historical African ethnic and cultural influences in the southern Iranian port city of Bander Abbas through the eyes of Hamid Saeed, a musician on a quest.

Cruising the city and rugged surroundings, guitar over his shoulder, he searches for like-minded musicians he describes as under the spell of the Dingomaro, a mythic African wind, to join him in a once-in-a-lifetime concert celebrating Hormozgan music.
