1. Why are some pictures/ links not clickable?

Those events have passed. It’s OK. Let it go.

2. Why are there events which have already passed on the website?

These are usually in the most popular. Some events in the past were crazy popular. If you want them to be booted off the site, it is your job to make new and current events more popular.

3. Why are previous events listed with current events? How can I tell the difference?

Some previous events are viewable, but only when their presence is warranted based on their position (i.e. HOT, FRESH, or POPULAR), but these events are not clickable. They simply remind us of our history.

4. Why are there only 3 categories?

Happenings has three categories of events: Sports, Arts, and Lectures. However, sometimes events don’t fit cleanly into one of these three categories, so they take the best fit. For example, a blood Drive would be categorized under Lectures, since it’s not a sport or art (to most of us at least).

5. The information of the campus calendar and happenings conflicted – why?

Happenings tries to provide its audience with the most bona-fide information available and double-triple checks the info whenever possible. However, sometimes event coordinators have to make last minute changes (detail changes or even canceling events without notice) that leave no time to notify online publicity, such as Happenings. In these rare cases, you may go to the wrong location, and become frustrated, but something really awesome will happen to you as compensation for the time and energy you have invested.
